Arrangement includes initial purchase order for 2,000 L2 Wi-Fi phones
VANCOUVER – October 19, 2016 – Apivio Systems Inc. (“Apivio” or the “Company”) (TSX VENTURE: APV), a leading provider of VoIP solutions, announced today that TeleDynamics will distribute the company’s market-leading Wi-Fi, Android and other VoIP devices in the United States, with an initial purchase order for 2,000 of Apivio’s Liberty L2 Wi-Fi phones. The arrangement builds on the companies’ long-standing relationship that saw TeleDynamics previously market and sell Apivio’s Liberty L1 Wi-Fi phones.
“The VoIP market is rapidly moving toward devices that support higher voice quality and cloud based intelligence,” says Rob Bakshi, President and CEO, Apivio Systems Inc. “This new distribution arrangement with TeleDynamics for our new L2 phone strategically positions Apivio as a leading provider of these technologies in the key U.S. market. We have high expectations for our new Liberty L2 handset in the U.S. market, starting with today’s announcement.”
“We’re excited to be working with Apivio to bring the Liberty L2 to market in the U.S.,” commented James ‘Happy’ Feller, CEO of TeleDynamics. “Apivio’s vision for VoIP technology and commitment to produce innovative products will create real opportunities for TeleDynamics.”
Designed for residences and large enterprise facilities alike, the Liberty L2 Wi-Fi phone from Apivio allows users to communicate across multiple locations or large campuses, with fast and seamless handoffs between Wi-Fi access points. Compliant with IEEE802.11a/b/g/n, the Liberty L2 supports HD Codec G.711.1 and G.722 for crystal clear voice quality, along with better calling security over any of today’s smartphone VoIP apps.
